I then decided to extend my research into the evolution of colour even further. I wanted to create something more powerful to my 'See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil' project. In this version, all the colours have different meanings. My research into colour theory relating to different cultures indicates there are many variations possible. The following website article describes Robert Plutchik's 'Theory of Colour and Emotion.'

In my opinion red representing anger/rage/annoyance is easy to agree with. Of course stop signs which are red do not mean this. To test this theory further I've applied various colours to my photographs to determine how different people feel about different colours emotionally.
